Vanguard’s Land and Equity team provided brokerage and advisory services to a group of Washington area real estate investors, forming Legacy Hospitality, LLC, to participate as one of four investors in Alliance Hospitality, a joint venture established to develop $500MM of hotel properties under premium brand affiliations such as Marriott, Hilton, Starwood, and Hyatt. The Alliance portfolio currently includes the Westin Virginia Beach Town Center, the noted tallest building in Virginia, and the Hilton Garden Inn, Blacksburg, Virginia, adjacent to Virginia Tech campus.
