Cullen Kilbane O’Grady Vice President, Investment Sales (301) 795-1456 (301) 795-1556 Fax Cullen K. O’Grady is Vice President of Investment Sales at Vanguard Realty Group. He specializes in the disposition of multifamily communities located throughout the Washington D.C. area and the mid-Atlantic region. He concentrates his professional efforts in representing and negotiating on behalf of sellers and buyers of multifamily properties by providing strategic market analysis, cash flow analysis, repositioning, and finding tax-deferred (Section 1031) exchange properties for his clients.
Experience Mr. O’Grady began his career at Marcus and Millichap Real Estate Investment Services in 2003. He was chosen to head the first Sales Intern Position Program (SIP Program) in the Washington, D.C. office, and successfully completed the program and mentorship under Rick Struse in 2004. In 2005 Mr. O’Grady and Mr. Struse formed the Struse/O’Grady Group to combine their strengths in market evaluation, negotiations and in sales of multifamily transactions for Private Investors and Institutional Clients, both locally and nationally. Based on his transactions, earnings and leadership, Mr. O’Grady was promoted to Senior Associate in 2007. During his tenure at Marcus and Millichap, Mr. O’Grady received numerous awards to include: The Pace Setter Award, Top Agent of the Month (multiple times), and Sales Achievement Award. In 2008, Mr. O’Grady joined Vanguard Realty Group as Vice President of Investment Sales, with his business partner, Rick Struse. Mr. O’Grady and Mr. Struse continue to provide Private Investors and Institutional Clients with the expertise and knowledge they have become associated with.
Investment Sales Throughout their careers, Mr. O’Grady and Mr. Struse have sold in excess of $227 Million of real estate transactions throughout the United States, including approximately 4,650 multifamily units, office, self storage, mixed-use, and single tenant net-leased properties.
